Announcing TEDxNewYork's Landmark Downtown Location

What do we give the people of New York? Give them a space that is beautiful, that is inspiring, that is connected to the history and of course that history will always be there…..It is a piece of real estate, but there’s something special about it, it is sacred ground.

We’re excited to announce the venue for this year’s TEDxNewYork is 3 World Trade Center. Designed by famed New York architect Daniel Libeskind, the distinct downtown 80-floor tower, nestled among Oculus Tower, Brookfield Place and Westfield World Trade Center, is the second tallest building on the World Trade Center site and boasts as the fifth tallest in New York City. The space is drenched in immense daylight thanks to floor-to-ceiling glass windows, which offer 360-degree panoramic views of downtown Manhattan and its surrounding regions.

We can’t wait to stage this year’s TEDxNewYork in the heart of Manhattan and within the rejuvenated downtown district for a truly iconic experience.
